We went on a Friday night and were practically the only ones among the trees! It was beautiful but we had to limit ourselves to only buying 6 apples - after all there are only 2 of us at home and the Granny Smith's (our "go to" apple crisp apples) weren't ready yet.
After all the hard work was done ;) we treated ourselves to some applewood smoked BBQ with local BBQ sauces. One word - AMAZING!
Nolan and I are loving life in the midwest! Although we miss our families and the mountains the seasons here are beautiful. Every time the highway turns we see another vista that belongs on a postcard. The heartland of America is truly one spectacular view after another. We tried to take a panoramic of the orchards but the panoramic of the opposing view actually turned out better. This is what we get to see every week!
